| Policies These are our general office policies, they may vary slightly by county or individual circumstance. We follow these policies to ensure that everyone is treated fairly. Re-issuing Checks - Checks are never due to the employee until their payday. This is the day your check is dated. If on your payday you do not receive a ch eck it is our office policy to wait 5 business days until we re-issue your check. We recommend direct deposit to all employees, it is the only way we are able to guarantee you will have your check on your payday. Advantages of Direct Deposit - - Safe. Reduces the risk of loss, theft, or forgery of paper checks. Direct deposit helps protect you against identity theft.
- Dependable. Relieves you of the uncertainty of mail delivery service. There is no way to track where your check is in the postal system. You do not have to wait for your check or wait on a re-issued check.
- Convenient. Gives you timely and uninterrupted deposits when you are away from home. Your payment will be automatically deposited into your account on your pay day.
- Trouble free. Eliminates inconveniences; such as being too busy, or traveling to your bank.
- Quick.Your money is available to you immediatly on your pay day.
Pay periods/Pay dates - All payroll is weekly, with the exception of Allegan County. Pay periods, however, vary by county. Please contact our office for further details.  |
