Training
Community Mental Health programs require training for providers. The CMH organizations and Self-Determination program participants work together to develop a training curriculum which meets the requirements of state law and the needs of the program participants. The training curriculum and how often it must be updated vary by program participant and county.

Requirements if Employer
IS NOT enrolled in Children's Waiver:

*IPOS Training - prior to working

CPR- within 30 days of hire

First Aid- within 30 days of hire

Recipient Rights- within 30 days of hire
-
YOU MUST retake this training if you start working for another consumer even if you have already taken it in the past

Emergency Preparedness- within 30 days of hire

Limited English Proficiency- within 30 days of hire

Blood Borne Pathogens- within 90 days of hire

Cultural Competency- within 90 days of hire

Corporate Compliance- within 90 days of hire
