Community Mental Health (CMH) programs require training for providers. The CMH organizations and Self-Determination program participants work together to develop a training curriculum, which meets the requirements of state law and the needs of the program participants. The training curriculum and how often it must be updated vary by program participant and county.
We maintain personnel files for many CMH program participants’ employees, as required by our contracts with the CMH organizations. We also maintain and monitor provider training records as part of those personnel files, where required by our contracts.
